Critical art today – social and geographical environment and its influence on media and possibilities of criticism of society and the place of contemporary artist here. Examples from different places and theoretical and practical approaches. (Sweden-Scandinavia, Russia …)
Social themes articulated in nowadays art (likewise as for those articulated out of it) in relation to a place. Partial themes: Right to city, squatting. Grassroot activities. Artist and organization.

Alexander Peroutka is a postgraduate student at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Brno where he works on his thesis – Identity and Information / critical art, theory of creation and practice of artist in relation to environment.

Seminar of postgraduate students is initiative of Digital laboratory and postgraduate students of AVU in Prague. Seminar represents a platform for introduction of theses that clarify practical perspectives of art in society and social interaction and highlights some common basic philosophical and sociological concepts in the sphere of current tendencies.
